I wrote lyrics for Providence-based composer Kirsten Volness' "Across The Oceans," one of three songs in her cycle, Precious Nothing (for mezzo-soprano, mixed octet, and electronics). Hotel Elefant premiered the cycle and Ear Heart Music presented it.
